What about fuel?

All our vans are diesel. We supply the van with ¼ tank of fuel and we ask that it is returned with ¼ tank.

What documents do I need to hire?

Please bring your drivers licence and either your NI number or licence check code from the DVLA. Minimum driver age is 23 ( 25 for minibuses ) and you must have 2 years driving experience. Maximum age is 69.

Please bring photo ID (eg passport) if your licence if the old paper type. Non-EU licence holders are also asked to bring proof of address in the UK.

Driver requirements

Drivers must be aged over 23 or 25 for minibuses (a small additional insurance charge is payable if the driver is under 25) and under 70 years and have held a full driving licence for at least one year.

I have endorsements on my licence – is that a problem?

No , unless you have had a ban that ended less than 3 years ago

What happens if I have a puncture or a breakdown?

Don’t worry, all of our vehicles are fully covered by the RAC, including onward travel to your destination. You will find the membership car in the bottom left corner of the windscreen, just call 0333 202 3000 and quote the vehicle registration.

How do I pay, and what about a deposit?

You pay only a small deposit as well as the cost of the hire. We accept all credit & debit cards, paypal and bank transfer.

Can I take the vehicle out of the UK?

We do not allow vehicles to be taken out of the UK.

Can I return vehicles outside of opening hours?

Yes you can return at any time of day or night – we will explain the procedure at time of vehicle collection.

What happens if I have an accident, or damage the van?

Please call or email us with details of the accident including all third-party details. There is an insurance excess of £1000 ~(£1500 for 7.5t vehicles) although you can pay a small additional premium at the time of hire to reduce the excess
